The ATP has launched a new prize draw initiative to raise money for Cancer Research UK, the Official Charity Partner of the Nitto ATP Finals. Dior activates Snapchat e-commerce for new sneaker

Dior last week unveiled its B27 sneaker with an augmented reality (AR) lens on Snapchat that lets users of the photo-messaging app virtually try on and buy the shoes, per an announcement emailed to Mobile Marketer. The luxury brand showcased six styles of the men’s sneakers, which sell for $990 to $1,100 on its Snapchat profile and website. Dior’s website describes the B27 sneakers as an «urban, sporty and refined line» whose inspiration includes «the vintage look of ‘80s tennis shoes to the skateboarding universe.». Read more...

EA and Learfield to launch new college esports league

Electronic Arts (EA) and media and technology services company, Learfield IMG College, have announced a new collegiate esports league. The division, which will be called ‘Level Next’, is open to college students at 2500 schools and universities across the nation. The competition will begin on 9 November and the Fall Champion Series will receive the ‘largest-ever collegiate esports cash prize pool’ of $150,000; a sum of which will be donated to campus esports programmes. Read more...









Alibaba and Richemont to invest $1.1B in online fashion retailer Farfetch


Alibaba
Chinese e-commerce giant Alibaba Group Holding Ltd and Swiss group Richemont plans to jointly invest $1.1 billion in British online fashion retailer Farfetch Ltd and its new Chinese marketplace in a landmark union of luxury e-commerce titans. Formula 1 confirms Saudi Arabia Race for 2021

Formula 1 has confirmed that it will add a new race in Saudi Arabia to its 2021 calendar. The inaugural Saudi Arabian Grand Prix will take place in Jeddah in November 2021 and will feature a night race under the lights and through the city streets. Read more...
